Decomposing Euclidean Space with a Small Number of Smooth Sets
نویسنده
چکیده
Let the cardinal invariant sn denote the least number of continuously smooth n-dimensional surfaces into which (n+1)-dimensional Euclidean space can be decomposed. It will be shown to be consistent that sn is greater than sn+1. These cardinals will be shown to be closely related to the invariants associated with the problem of decomposing continuous functions into differentiable ones.

Feature Selection for Small Sample Sets with High Dimensional Data Using Heuristic Hybrid Approach
Feature selection can significantly be decisive when analyzing high dimensional data, especially with a small number of samples. Feature extraction methods do not have decent performance in these conditions. With small sample sets and high dimensional data, exploring a large search space and learning from insufficient samples becomes extremely hard. As a result, neural networks and clustering a...
متن کاملFUZZY HV -SUBSTRUCTURES IN A TWO DIMENSIONAL EUCLIDEAN VECTOR SPACE
In this paper, we study fuzzy substructures in connection withHv-structures. The original idea comes from geometry, especially from thetwo dimensional Euclidean vector space. Using parameters, we obtain a largenumber of hyperstructures of the group-like or ring-like types. We connect, also, the mentioned hyperstructures with the theta-operations to obtain morestrict hyperstructures, as Hv-groups...
متن کاملOn the Quaternionic Curves in the Semi-Euclidean Space E_4_2
In this study, we investigate the semi-real quaternionic curves in the semi-Euclidean space E_4_2. Firstly, we introduce algebraic properties of semi-real quaternions. Then, we give some characterizations of semi-real quaternionic involute-evolute curves in the semi-Euclidean space E42 . Finally, we give an example illustrated with Mathematica Programme.

With domination of Kant's epistemology and instrumental reason in social science and human geography, interpretation of space have been based on neo physics that often it is equivalent with intuitive and physical experience and the place of capital and it's reproduction. Therefore we firstly have represented of ontological transform of space concept and by the way we enumerate the c...
متن کاملTangent Bundle of the Hypersurfaces in a Euclidean Space
Let $M$ be an orientable hypersurface in the Euclidean space $R^{2n}$ with induced metric $g$ and $TM$ be its tangent bundle. It is known that the tangent bundle $TM$ has induced metric $overline{g}$ as submanifold of the Euclidean space $R^{4n}$ which is not a natural metric in the sense that the submersion $pi :(TM,overline{g})rightarrow (M,g)$ is not the Riemannian submersion. In this paper...
